9 FUN Things to do with Kids in Koh Samui

TOP Family-Friendly Attractions & Activities in Koh Samui

Koh Samui is a holiday island where you can take your family and have a fantastic time. There is so much to do, that you and your children are going to be busy 24/7. Obviously being an island there are heaps of water sports (snorkelling, swimming, walking on the beach and of course the MUST Do sand castles) and lots of water activities. But go beyond the beach and you will find Koh Samui pretty much jam packed with kids activities. If you are wondering where to take the kids following are some great family friendly activities that you are going to love.

Coco Splash Water Park

The water park is in Lamai so it’s pretty easy to get to even if you are staying in the Chaweng area. Just look for Samui’s Ping Road and you will find it. Basically, you can’t miss it as it’s HUGE! If your into water slides, (who isn’t) then take the kids there for a fun filled day out of water slide manic activity – this will certainly tire them out. They have everything here, slides, trampolines, boat rides and inflatable castles where the kids can play.

Chaweng Aqua Parks

Most of the Luxurious Private Koh Samui villas we have on our website are in or at least close to the main Chaweng area so hitting the aqua parks will be easy and the kids are going to have a ball. Watch them swim out and jump around all these inflatable devises in the water. Totally exhausting, but they will love it. If you are worried about safety, the park is patrolled and everyone has to wear a life jacket.

Paradise Park Farm

This farm is near the mountain area of Khao Pom. Originally a bird park this has now morphed into more of a zoo where there are deer, rabbits and other tranquil animals. Not really a high energy place but ideal to take younger kids to meet and greet these lovely critters. There is also a restaurant, pool and it boasts sensational views over Samui – definitely worth a look if you have really young children.

Crazy Golf

Chaweng location makes this an ideal afternoon of entertainment. There are 9 holes of mini golf to keep the kids and you busy. The course is set among landscaped gardens so it does make for a picturesque setting.

Ang Thong Marine National Park

If your children love the water and love the ocean then this marine park is a must see. Imagine snorkelling in these pristine blue waters enjoying the abundance of marine life. I would say that out of all the activities here for kids this should be high on the priority list. If the weathers good and the seas are calm – Go For It!

Central Festival Samui

If it’s raining and you are wondering what to do with the kids in Samui then head off to the mall. Boasting restaurants, food outlets there is also heaps of entertainment options for the kids including; Pirate Adventure Horror House, XD Theatre, and Pirates of the Marioland gaming arcade.
